It’s been a busy year for our Land Agent Services team, with landowner engagement and negotiations taking place with scores of landowners on numerous proposed wind and solar farm sites around the country. Our land agents have travelled across the country and assisted wind and solar farm developers in assembling the land required for proposed wind and solar farms across the country. We’ve negotiated land agreements on turbine delivery routes and secured the all-important substation sites and cable runs so that the power produced can be connected to the national grid. It’s an exciting time in the renewable energy sector in Ireland, and in recent times, there has been an increasing focus on the development of offshore windfarms and once again, our land agents are on hand, securing the vital landfall sites to take the power ashore and feed it into the grid. Our team is proud to be on the front line of Ireland’s march to a green, renewable and low-carbon economy. We look forward to 2024 as the year when more announcements will be made of planning permissions being granted for new wind and solar farms, where government policy will encourage and facilitate further investment and development in the renewable energy sector. We can all look forward to a brighter, greener future powered by renewable energy from Ireland’s wind and solar farms.
