MKO’s Estates & Project Management team provide on-going Project Management and Development Advisory services to Mary Immaculate College, Limerick; helping the College to maintain and develop it’s estate , to meet the needs of its growing student population. We developed and implemented a Capital Projects Control process to help ensure that appropriate decisions are made in deploying limited capital resources, and that value for money is achieved in the execution of projects.
We have worked with MIC to ensure procurement compliance across their Buildings and Estates expenditure; from procuring design teams for large capital projects to establishing framework operators for on-going Estates Management activities such as Landscape maintenance. We recently coordinated and directed a major fire compliance review of the largest building on the campus, and are managing the roll-out of a general Building Regulations compliance review over the entire estate.
We also assist MIC in engaging with funding bodies to help secure funding for their projects. We have assisting MIC in securing funding for a €20 million project to replace their existing Library.
