McHale Engineering Ltd specialises in the design and manufacture of farm machinery at their 14 hectare site in Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo. In 2018, MKO were commissioned by McHale Engineering Ltd to prepare a Firewater Retention Risk Assessment (FRRA) for their Ballinrobe facility. The site operates under an Industrial Emissions (IE) Licence which was granted by the Environmental Protection Agency in 2015. MKO prepared the FRRA to meet the requirements of the IE Licence and was prepared in accordance with the recent EPA Firewater Retention Guidance (Final Draft) which was published in 2018. The FRRA has been issued to the EPA to meet the requirements of the operating conditions of the IE Licence.
