MKO and MullanGrid, with their expertise on the grid and planning systems, have prepared and maintained a bottom-up renewables pipeline database. The database includes all onshore wind and solar projects in Ireland that are in development and not yet energised. The database has over 120 wind projects and 300 solar projects, and we continue to check and validate data. This database will be of particular relevance to entities interested in participating in the RESS 1 Auction.
The deliverables include an extensive spreadsheet of project information that can be easily filtered for analysis. Our latest update of the database brings it up to a data freeze date of 31st January 2020.
