Hannah holds an integrated master’s degree in Zoology from the University of Glasgow and a PhD in Behavioural Ecology from the University of Sheffield. Post PhD she led the Whooping Crane research programme at the Wilder Institute, where her work focused on understanding reproductive failure in the captive and reintroduced populations to improve management strategies. Hannah has extensive experience designing and managing complex research projects, analysing large datasets, publishing findings, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders. She currently manages the RE-Harrier project, which focuses on developing sustainable wind energy practices for Hen Harrier conservation.
