Nature conservation authorities, public authorities, and state agencies charged with nature conservation responsibilities do their best to fulfil their statutory and scientific functions with their in-house resources.
When internal resources aren’t available, we provide the additional resources and expertise for delivering an entire project on their behalf. We gather baseline scientific data, manage and undertake large-scale and specific seasonal surveys, and prepare conservation status reports.

Killarney National Park Biosphere Reserve Periodic Review
MKO completed a periodic review of the Killarney National Park UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in conjunction with the National Parks and Wildlife Service and Kerry County Council.

MKO was appointed by Clare County Council to carry out a large-scale bird usage survey of the River Shannon and River Fergus Estuaries Special Protection Area (SPA).
