Planning Bill
Minister O Brien has announced that the Planning Bill, which is expected to be the third-largest piece of legislation in the history of the State, will be introduced to the Dáil in the coming session. The Bill was published in January but has yet to come before the Dáil and Seanad. The Irish Times reported that Mr O’Brien said on Thursday, 24th August, that the Bill is now being finalised and will come to Cabinet in the next week, with the intention for the bill to be enacted by Christmas 2023.

Draft County Donegal Development Plan 2024-2030
Donegal County Council has prepared a Draft County Donegal Development Plan 2024-2030.
You can make a written submission on the Draft Plan between the 4th of August and the 13th of October 2023 (both dates inclusive):

As part of the public consultation on the Draft Plan the Council is holding public drop in events across the County during September 2023.
Draft Adare Local Area Plan 2024-2030
Limerick City and County Council have given notice of the preparation of the Draft Adare Local Area Plan 2024-2030. A public information evening will be held for members of the public and interest on Thursday 7th September 2023, between 3pm – 7pm in the Village Hall, Adare.
Submissions/Observations may be made in respect of the Draft Adare Local Area Plan, Draft Public Realm Plan and associated Environmental Reports from 19th August – 2nd October 2023 inclusive. Submissions/Observations may be made as follows:

In accordance with Section 20 of the Planning & Development Act 2000 (as amended), Tipperary County Council has published the Draft Clonmel Local Area Plan 2024-2030, which includes a Draft Local Transport Plan.
