Damian Brosnan

Damian is the Project Director of Acoustics with MKO and holds an MSc in Applied Acoustics from the University of Derby. Prior to joining MKO in 2023, Damian was Principal Consultant at Damian Brosnan Acoustics, working on a wide variety of projects across Ireland. Damian has extensive experience in assessing noise impacts associated with industry, quarrying, waste management and renewable energy through planning applications, SID applications and the EPA licensing system. He is a member of the Institute of Acoustics (MIOA) and is Secretary of the Irish Branch. He is also a founding member of the Association of Acoustic Consultants of Ireland (AACI), an industry body founded to promote acoustics best practice in Ireland. Damian has presented acoustic evidence in a number of court hearings and oral hearings.
