Michael leads the MKO Health and Safety team. Before joining MKO, Michael spent over 18 years as a Senior Inspector with the Health and Safety Authority. He led the Authority’s Construction Unit for nine years and the Authority’s Utilities, Waste and Engineering Unit. Michael led the Authority’s work on developing the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013 and all associated Codes of Practice and Guidance. Michael also was the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment’s representative on the Board of the Construction Industry Register Ireland (CIRI).
