MKO is delighted to share that An Coimisiún Pleanála has approved the Kingston Park and Millers Lane Public Realm Project on behalf of Galway City Council. MKO is proud to have supported Galway City Council in progressing this landmark project from its initial concept through to the successful grant of planning permission.
This landmark project will deliver new sports pitches, a community building, enhanced public open spaces, improved walking and cycling connections, biodiversity enhancements, and a range of recreational facilities designed to support active lifestyles and community wellbeing. The project reflects Galway City Council’s commitment to delivering accessible, inclusive and sustainable public spaces.
The grant of planning permission represents a major achievement for Galway City Council and the wider project team. We would like to acknowledge the commitment and collaboration of Galway City Council, DRLA, Punch Consulting Engineers, Quinn Architects, Moloney Fox, TC Estimating, Meehan Greene, Jensen Hughes and Hayden Turfcare, in reaching this important milestone.
